Four Brokerage Professionals Named Partners of the Firm

Cushman & Wakefield / EGS Commercial Real Estate, Inc. is pleased to announce four of the firm’s commercial real estate brokerage professionals have been named Partners of the firm, effective April 2022. The new partners include Adam Eason, William Ledbetter, Brad Moffatt and Deborah McGill Smith. These additions are part of the firm’s plan to identify new leaders who will continue to grow Cushman & Wakefield / EGS for the benefit of its clients, investors and team members.

The new members of the ownership team represent multiple commercial real estate specialties and include:

Adam Eason joined Cushman & Wakefield / EGS in 2012. As a Vice President in the firm’s Industrial Services division, Adam performs many roles including asset management, leasing, investment analysis and development. He manages a portfolio of assets totaling approximately $250 million across 2.9 million square feet property. Adam attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina where he majored in Business Administration with a concentration in German Language Studies.

William Ledbetter joined Cushman & Wakefield / EGS in 2013 and is a Vice President in the firm’s Leasing and Brokerage division. His primary focus is on leasing, brokerage and advisory services, with an emphasis on the office sector. William holds a double major from the University of Mississippi, where he earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Managerial Finance and Real Estate. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Alabama Chapter of NAIOP. In 2021, he was named Top 40 Under 40 by the Birmingham Business Journal.

Brad Moffatt joined Cushman & Wakefield / EGS in 2003 and is a Vice President in the firm’s Industrial Services division. He specializes in industrial real estate brokerage and leasing and represents clients with both a local and national presence. Brad holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Alabama as well as a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University. He currently serves as the Regional Director for the South Region of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).

Deborah McGill Smith joined Cushman & Wakefield / EGS in 2008 and is a Vice President in the firm’s Industrial Services division. She specializes in industrial and land brokerage and consulting services. Her extensive background in the public sector and economic development has been key to the successful completion of many of the firm’s high-profile site location and site acquisition assignments. Deborah received a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University and a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery. She currently serves as the President Elect for the LA/MS/AL/NW FL Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Deborah is a nationally Certified Economic Developer and an instructor for real estate courses for the
International Economic Development Council (IEDC).

With these additions, Cushman & Wakefield / EGS now has eight partners in its ownership group. The firm’s partnership also includes Founder and Executive Chairman Marc Eason, President Mark Byers, Chairman Bill Pradat and Executive Vice President Brad Jones. Founded in 1987, Cushman & Wakefield / EGS will celebrate its 35th anniversary in October 2022.
